Steve Knecht
Steve has been in the Central Illinois machining industry for over 25 years. He started his career at a production shop while getting his Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology-Manufacturing from Illinois State University. Since then he has worked at welding shops, tool and die companies, and engineering firms.
His mechanical abilities are also used in his hobbies of vintage motorcycles and gunsmithing.
His journey from production associate, project manager, and shop manager finally led him to become co-owner of G3 Machining.
